Year 9 Options Evening

Welcome to Caldew School Year 9 Options/Parents Evening.

We hope that we can give you a flavour of Caldew School’s Key Stage 4 offer. Please watch our introductory welcome and explanation of the options process from Deputy Headteacher, Mrs C Atkinson, as well as some informative clips from Subject Leaders on the option subjects students might wish to take.

The subject talks are designed to give you an outline of the courses, how they are assessed and some of the differences you might find in the move up from Year 9 to Year 10.

Please make your parents’ video call appointments using our School Cloud Service. Appointments can be made with your child’s teachers to discuss their progress so far this year. Appointments start at 4.30pm and finish at 7.00pm.

If having watched the presentations from subjects you still have questions that you’d like to discuss with our staff, you can make a video call appointment with these subjects.
